Friday Favorites: October Edition

With Fall in full swing (even though it still hits 90 degrees here), what better way to celebrate than with all things pumpkin! I\’m a big fan of the pumpkin theme that takes over the Fall season because pumpkin pie is my top favorite dessert.  Now sadly, it\’s not always practical to snack on a full pie on a Tuesday or cook one to make your house smell delish.  Lucky for us, to counteract this unfortunate fact, there\’s tons of other options!

1. Pumpkin Pie Special K Pastry Crisps

These taste like mini Poptarts with only 100 calories per package.  I heat mine up and eat them with milk.  I\’ve only found them at Target, but other stores have regular flavors like brown sugar that are equally tasty.

2. Talenti Pumpkin Pie Gelato
While I have yet to be able to find this again this year, this stuff is pure gold.  There\’s actual chunks of pie crust in the gelato and it has a nice flavor that isn\’t overbearing.

3. Pumpkin Spice Bread

A staple of the Fall, pumpkin spice bread served warm with some butter is never a bad idea.  I picked up my loaf at the local farmer\’s market, but I\’ve also seen varieties at every grocery store!

4. Pumpkin Spice Oreos
Another favorite I can only seem to find at Target, but well worth the hunt! The cookie part tastes like pie crust and the middle is the pumpkin, so yummy! Probably for the best I couldn\’t find them right away since I went through the whole pack in a day.

5. Thomas Pumpkin Spice Bagels
Even just paired with plain cream cheese these bad boys add some October flair to breakfast.  Again, these are a nice subtle pumpkin taste and can be a daily item or switch it up serve them warm with some cinnamon butter for dessert!

Now, some people love the pumpkin take-over this time of year (me) and others can\’t stand it.  What are your thoughts? If you love it, like me, what are some of your favs??

Pink & White Top (similar) | Jeans | Shoes | Purse (similar) | Jacket coming soon in a post!

XOXO, Cierra
